Memory Reprocessing Intensives
Portland & Virtual · Oregon Only
Some memories don’t dissolve with time.
They settle into the body. They shape how you move through relationships. How quickly you brace. How much of yourself you hold back.
You may have done therapy. You may understand your patterns. You may even know exactly where it began.
And yet — when the trigger appears, your nervous system reacts as if the moment is unfinished.
Three hours.
One clear focus.
A deliberate container for change.
What Becomes Possible
A Memory Reprocessing Intensive helps the body complete what was interrupted — so the past no longer occupies the present.

Insight isn’t the same as resolution.
You’re here because something hasn’t resolved. Maybe it’s a trauma memory. Maybe it’s a relational rupture that still shapes how safe you feel with closeness.
Maybe it isn’t one moment at all — but a pattern that keeps repeating, even though you understand it intellectually.
You don’t need a perfect narrative. You need clarity about what you’re ready to shift.

what becomes possible
for a specific memory
The body stops bracing.
The image loses its immediacy.
The trigger no longer feels like proof that the danger is current.
You can remember — without reliving.
For a pattern or relational wound
The reaction softens.
The same dynamic arises — but it doesn’t grip.
There is space where there used to be inevitability.
That is integration.
Not erasure. Not bypassing. Not endless analysis. Integration.
how it works
We are not just talking about the memory. We are working directly with how it is encoded in your nervous system — using approaches grounded in memory reconsolidation research.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
While using rapid eye movements we shift distressing images and body sensations with neutral or positive ones — without requiring detailed verbal processing.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing
While using bilateral stimulation we tap into your brain’s adaptive information processing (AIP) system to reduce the emotional charge of traumatic experiences.
Eye position is used to locate and process trauma stored deep in the subcortical brain — where words don’t always reach.
Flash Technique
A gentle, minimally intrusive method for reducing the disturbance of traumatic memories.
By activating the neural network associated with a memory and allowing new information to update the emotional learning, the brain can recode how that experience is stored.
This is structured, brain-based trauma therapy designed for resolution — not symptom management, not indefinite exploration. The goal is meaningful shift in the way your nervous system holds what happened.
the container
A Saturday format designed for depth, momentum, and integration — without taking over your life.
We define the focus — one memory, a linked cluster, a recurring pattern. We're identifying the thread that's ready to move and set up the frame for our work of the day.
Get oriented. Test what works. We determine which method fits your system and ensure you feel steady enough to begin.
Using ART, EMDR, Brainspotting, or Flash, we work directly with the selected focus. We follow your nervous system — not a script.
Consolidate shifts. Plan next steps. You leave with clear expectations for the next 24–72 hours and a plan for support.
